  • I was just about ready to watch this... by 1

...but I wont because it's really bad. I know this because out of the current 11 reviews, ten are all 10's and one 9, so since the filmmakers didn't have faith in their own film to resort to these deceitful tactics with their bogus reviews, it's clearly a terrible film. Huge pass, and thanks for the head's up Mr. Johnson, so I didn't have to waste 90 mins of my life.

  • Best 90 minutes I've spent in a long time by 7

I came to see this by chance. It was not a film I would have sought out to watch, but I am better for having seen it. These are real people telling us about real events that they lived through. Most of which we will never be able to comprehend fully. This is a beautiful and engaging film. The 'butterfly effect' is in full force here: one decision and the ripples it made decades after.I am not a 'history buff.' This film allowed me to connect to a historical event in a way I have not been able to previously. It challenged me to think about what our servicemen experienced, and at such young ages, when I have never had those thoughts before. The Journey to Royal is a beautiful, thoughtful tribute to heroes. They are relatable, fallible, and should be unforgettable. Great work like this will ensure they, and their sacrifices, are never forgotten.

  • History Lesson For All by 10

As a history scholar I found this movie invaluable. So many of our fathers never made it home from their service in WWII. Hearing about the dangerous missions of this rescue squadron from the veterans themselves was awe-inspiring. I have a renewed appreciation for the service and sacrifice of all those who put on the uniform to serve our country.

  • very educational and entertaining documentary by 10

Learned so much about a little known part of WWII history that we never got taught about in school. This film should be seen by everyone. It's a very worthy 90 minutes of time spent. These veterans are true heroes and everyone should know about what they did for us all.

  • A great reminder by 10

This film reminds me why I come to America on1968 a land of heroes they did their duty when the nation need it the film show their spirit of America UNITY and as today as today a nation not united is a great reminder of what it takes to be united, the film in my opinion should be shown in schools to young people so they will understand what sacrifice young people did 80 years ago for us to be today free congratulations to everyone involved in this film they did a great job.Jorge Ber-Percivale
