- Gotta love reviews by the cast and crew! 4/5/2019 12:00:00 AM by kwq_e_500
6 ten out of tens? Seriously? Besides the art major adjectives and the raving over the "cinematography" Why not call it movie making like the rest of the world?Six reviews and they are all 10/10. Dead giveaway! I think I will wait until someone who didn't have a part in making the movie posts a review and then decide whether or not to rent it.
- If this was the best movie at Portland film festival than that festival really suck 4/5/2019 12:00:00 AM by cashovina
Well yea, another low budget crap but i had to admit they put more effort than what u can usually see in the other low budget movies. The scenes are little better, acting is little better. The main character really took the effort in some of the scenes. But don′t get me wrong, it is still a boring crap.

I really enjoyed this film. Granted I love the genre, but it was very well made and the acting was perfect in my opinion. Didn't spell everything out for you like most movies these days. The tone was set and off it went. The main actor was superb holding down the story. The makeup and cinematography were excellent. The score fit nicely. I really can't say anything negative about this movie. I'll recommend it for sure. Nice work!
- A Clear Winner at the Portland Film Festival 3/21/2019 12:00:00 AM by adamkmeyer
I watched The Head Hunter at the Portland film festival. I went in expecting a low-budget film and was impressed with the quality of the cinematography, the emotion the sole character and audio transfers to the audience, and the subtle humor and intrigue throughout. A fun film for sure. I'd recommend it to others who are interested in medieval action/adventure/horror films. Maybe we will be lucky enough for a sequel.
- Film Festival favorite in 2018 3/20/2019 12:00:00 AM by mikesteinheiser
I had the pleasure of being at the 2018 Nightmares Film Festival and was at the premiere of The Headhunter.I was able to also catch 12-13 other features over the course of the festival and The Headhunter was by far my favorite.
Christipher Rygh stars in the main role of The Headhunter himself and does an incredible job The film itself is firing on all cylinders,And has it all incredible acting, beautifully shot, well written and it's also the most original horror film I've seen in a very long time
This film is very far from a mainstream so called horror film that will find itself playing at your local multiplex theater, however I cannot give this film enough praise. Do yourself a favor and search out The Headhunter, sit down with some friends and soak in the most original horror film in years that is The Headhunter and you can thank me when the final credits roll
