An elite Navy SEAL uncovers an international conspiracy while seeking justice for the murder of his pregnant wife in Tom Clancy's Without Remorse, the explosive origin story of action hero John Clark - one of the most popular characters in author Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan universe. When a squad of Russian soldiers kills his family in retaliation for his role in a top-secret op, Sr. Chief John Kelly (Michael B. Jordan) pursues the assassins at all costs. Joining forces with a fellow SEAL (Jodie Turner-Smith) and a shadowy CIA agent (Jamie Bell), Kelly's mission unwittingly exposes a covert plot that threatens to engulf the U.S. and Russia in an all-out war. Torn between personal honor and loyalty to his country, Kelly must fight his enemies without remorse if he hopes to avert disaster and reveal the powerful figures behind the conspiracy.

  • Why by 3

Why adopt the title of the book but not adapt the book? The book's setting and relationship building prior to the love interest's death is what made the book memorable. Why take the audience out of the story by turning it into a PC fantasy with a beanpole woman SEAL commander? The performances were completely wooden, with the worst offender being the commander. The setup is absolutely boring and predictable... and that's as far as I watched. Why do this at all if you're not going to do it right?

What a disappointment! MBJ was a bad fit, totally unbelievable in this role. If I would have seen this movie before his others, I would have written him off as a terrible actor. Don't even get me started on his female commanding officer. Her acting sucked as well. Jamie Bell was the only decent actor in the entire thing.

On top of the bad acting, the storyline is predictable and didn't flow at all. I can't get over how terrible it was. This was a Steven Segal straight to VHS movie.

    2 stars for MBJ's shirtless scenes. ??

  • I'm disappointed in Taylor Sheridan and MBJ by 2

With all the great stuff written by Sheridan and all the great roles played by Michael B Jordan you would think this movie would have been great. Not the case, unfortunately. Total waste of time. Predictable. Poorly written and acted.

For a Clancy film, the gun play and action sequences were really lacking. Embarrassing excuse for a film.

Maybe online book retailers should stick to selling books.

Ps. To the guy complaining about car doors being opened under water... once all the air is out of the car, yes, the door can be opened with little effort.

  • Filmed in flat angles with stale performances. by 3

Nothing to spoil here, its pretty charmless and predictable. Convenient situations drive the story along. MBJ doesn't even bail this out of the dumpster full of bad action movies it belongs in.

This is the tv series version of a better movie with the same name.

Just another Amazon bomb. Save your time. Characters are boring and flat. I made it half way through before turning it off and never once did I ever give one iota of care about whether any given character lived or died. Just bland. Amazon seems to produce a lot of duds like this.
